コースター(FUR)の鋳造に失敗したものをそのまま活用しフラワーベースとしてプロダクト化。鋳造工程で湯（溶解したアルミ）が全体に上手く行き渡らなかった場合、再度溶かし再利用するが、失敗した一つ一つの形が特徴的だった為、湯口を残したままそのままの形を活かすことにした。鋳造としては失敗ではあるが、それ以降のプロセスを中断しそのままプロダクト化することによって”ROUGH DIAMOND” -未完の大器- と名付けられた表情豊かなフラワーヴェースとして新たな命が吹き込まれることとなった。
This was produced as a flower vase directly using a failure in casting of a coaster (FUR). If failed to spread the dissolved aluminum fully, normally it is reused after dissolving again. However, I found each single shape is characteristic, and got the idea to make use of the shape remains gate. It may a failure as casting, on the other hand, it is given new life as an expressive flower vase that named as “ROUGH DIAMOND” -Incomplete Great Talent- by stopping the rest of process and directly producing.
