この度、イタリアのデザイン賞「A’DESIGN AWARD & COMPETITION」において、shallowsが金賞、ROW benchが銀賞をそれぞれ受賞致しました。shallowsは2015年のred dot award（ドイツ）に続いての受賞。ROW benchに至っては、2006年のグッドデザイン賞以来10年経っての受賞ということで感慨深いものがあります。特にROWは僕がデザイナーとして初めて本格的にデザインしたいわゆるデビュー作だったので、初心を思い出す良い機会になりました。

A’ Design AwardsはGood Spatial Design（建築、インテリアデザイン、アーバンデザイン、ランドスケープデザイン）、Good Industrial Design　（プロダクトデザイン、家電デザイン、乗り物デザイン、機械装置デザイン）、Good Communication Design　（グラフィックデザイン、インタラクションデザイン、マーケティングデザイン）、Good Fashion Design　（服飾デザイン、ファッションアクセサリーデザイン、フットウェアデザイン、Good System Design　（サービスデザイン、デザイン戦略、クオリティ＆革新）そして芸術と文学の成果に対して贈られます。

賞には5つのランクがあり、優秀な作品から順にプラチナ、ゴールド、シルバー、ブロンズ、アイアンの賞が、全デザイン分野に対して贈られます。
